Can I connect the ps4 slim via the monitor via aux?

I wanted to buy either a used ps4 or ps4 slim. The slim has no jack, so I want to know if I can connect this via hdmi to my monitor and then aux with my system can verbiinden.

Yes that works, I even had headphones on my monitor and they worked without problems. Then that will work with the system as well.
