I have the following problem:
I use my Logitech G29 steering wheel a lot to play F12020 on the PS4. Some time ago it suddenly occurred that when I wanted to shift up, that is, when I pressed the right rocker switch, the car would skip a gear, so that I would switch from 5th to 7th gear, for example. That was about every 4th-5th Shift up like that. The rocker has recently stopped switching or only switches it every few times.
(Everything else on the steering wheel works fine, except for a few tremors on the gas or brake pedal, which do not bother me further)
I've already tried the following:
The middle 6 screws loosened and tightened again (several times also completely screwed on, the plate and the screws cleaned)
Ps4 USB ports changed at will
The steering wheel disconnected from the power (and plugged in again, of course.)
and
The cables that are connected to the steering wheel itself are plugged in and out
Unfortunately, all of this only helped for a short time, if at all
About my steering wheel:
I bought the steering wheel exactly 3 years ago, but haven't used it for a long time in between (about 1 year in total). I've also used it on PC and PS3.
Have any of you had experience with such Logitech steering wheels and know how to get it working again?
You have already tried everything, get a better present for Christmas.
I would try contact spray for electronics.
