Why does my Ps4 show so little download and upload data?
I have a 170 K line, so download 170 Mbits and 40 Mbits upload, I'm connected to the LAN cable on the Ps4, but I still get 47 mbits displayed when downloading and about 37.7 mbits upload. Have already called Telekom, who said there are no problems with my line. I also have the Magenta app, where I can also test the connection speed. There it shows everything correctly (170 download approx and 40 upload). What could be the problem? Possibly on the LAN cable vill?
If you reach your 170/40 in the speed test, it will probably be due to the Sony servers, which do not necessarily have to provide you with the full bandwidth

A 170k line is a 170mbps line. So only about 17 mbits a second.

That's not true. The k stands for 1000, 1000 bits = 1 Mbit. Have a 250k line and have most of the time between 40 and 150 Mbits. According to your logic, I would have up to 1.5 Gbit.

You say with 170k you would have 17 Mbits so one tenth of the line. So you would have a 1500k line according to the logic with 150 Mbits.
Correct. If you download with 150 Mbits you have a 1500k line. But I do not assume that you do this. But that you have a download speed of 150 mbps.
I also wonder if you can get to 30 Mbits when my statement was that I have between 40 and 150 Mbits most of the time. According to your first statement, I would have to have the number of Mbits times 10 as a line, so 150 Mbits times 10 equals 1500k. But what is complete nonsense.
You can't compare bits with bytes. 100k = 12.5 Mbits. If you don't believe me, just google instead of spreading nonsense here.
I have a 250k line and, according to several speed tests, around 100 Mbits. Both the internal Ps4, the apps I tried and the internet sites all say Mbits. I have now tested my speed again and have 44.9 Mbits, which according to you could not be.
Here is a speed test of mine. It often happens that you have a lower number of Mbits than you should. It is most likely due to the PSN servers. It can also help to change the port in the settings. The various ports can be found in tutorials on Youtube or when you google.

With your 250,000 kbit / s line you have a maximum of 31.25MB / s in the download (during the speed test).
However, since the Playstation shows Mbit and not MB during the speed test, you would have to have 250 Mbit / s on the Playstation if your entire line is used.
44 Mbit / s is therefore far too little for your line.
