I'm getting desperate. Our Wi-Fi has not been working properly for days. At least for me. My partner, our ps4 and the computer have no problems. But when I connect my cell phone to the WLAN, it constantly wants me to log in and authenticate. In addition, I get the typical messages that you get when you log into public networks. Just not much happens when I go to the link. I only come to the EasyBox website, where I can only select "reconnect". If I go on it, nothing happens again. At some point I'll have a normal connection again until I get a message that the time for the authentication has expired and I should update this. So the same game again. This happens every 5 minutes so I don't have a stable connection.
What I've already tried:
Router off and on, router reset and set up again, cell phone restart, network removed from cell phone and reconnected
Nothing worked.
After a long Google search I couldn't find anything.
Has anyone had the same problem and can help me?
Maybe your smartphone can't handle spaces in the SSID (= network name). Delete the space in your SSID.
Here it is explained: (quote)
…
SSID and network key should not have any spaces, special characters or umlauts.
SSID should be visible.
Encryption should be WPA2 or WPA, no mixed operation WPA2 / WPA.
Deactivate bluetooth.
Deactivate the MAC filter completely.
Protection software on the devices?
