So, I've been playing on the Playstation for a while now. It rarely happens, but sometimes when I play with friends normally, there's a hum. Just now and yesterday a friend had the problem that he was humming, so if you muted him, it was gone. Now I would like to know where this hum comes from and why it occasionally occurs. Those who have not yet understood it happen very rarely and then stop again, for no apparent reason and without having done anything. Since I only play on Ps4, I don't know if this will also happen on other platforms. Last but not least, the question of whether you can do something about it that actually helps.
Maybe it's just your friend's Ps4 in the background. The Ps4 can hum quite loudly. That you hear it may be because your friend is too close with the microphone on the Ps4; he plays on a CD drive; your headphones are set too loud or too good; or your friend has set their microphone level too loud.
