I bought Red Dead Redemption 2 about 2 years ago, played it through, all the bells and whistles.
Well the other day a friend came up to me and asked me if I would like to play with him on the Ps4 Red Dead Online.
My problem here:
My PS hard drive is already fully packed and I have already deleted all "useless" games.
However, there's not enough memory for RDR2.
For some time now there has been the option of only buying the online mode, but since I already own the game I would be reluctant to do so.
My question:
Is it possible to ONLY download the online mode from an already purchased RDR2 on the Ps4, so no story etc?
No, if you ONLY want to play or download Red Dead Online you have to buy the standalone version. I would just buy an external hard drive for the PS4 and it would give you more storage space.
Unfortunately there's no and DO NOT buy the stand-alone version, because it is also 120 Gb in size, because you download the story at the same time and it is only activated when you buy the expansion for the story.
No don't think so. If you get the standalone version, it is still 120 Gb in size because you download the story and it will only be unlocked afterwards if you buy it.
Ok but as far as I know RD2 is 150 GB, which is why the standalone is only 120 GB
Yes, it says that it is 150 GB in size, but for me it was "only" 120 GB (have the normal story on PC)
