At the moment the PlayStation 5 (PS5) has come out and in the beginning it is of course sold out everywhere and of course extremely expensive with over 600, - per console.
I have the PS4 but I don't play it that often, now and then and I would like to buy the PS5, but not at a price of over 600.00.
I'd rather wait a bit until you can get them for 500.00 or at least until there are more accessories / games for the money, so that you get more for your money.
With the PS3 and the PS4 there was always something like that after a certain period of time and when such discounts are included you can see that the consoles are actually sold far too dearly when they are released.
I would wait, for example, another year or one and a half, do you think that it is realistic to get the console for around 500.00 in this period or that there will then be packages with significantly more content, i.e. Games or accessories?
The PS5 costs 499 EUR with a drive. Version without drive 399 EUR.
That's not more than 600 EUR, I think ;-)
Probably the price won't go down anytime soon. Instead of discounts, manufacturers prefer to give free gifts in the form of bundles with games. As long as the console is sold out, nothing will change.
Black Friday at the end of 2021 at the earliest. And I suspect that this will then be limited to bundles with games or accessories, not necessarily that the console itself will be reduced.
