How do I connect Wi-Fi amplifier to PS4?

Since yesterday I have a Wi-Fi amplifier which is located in the next room and is therefore closer to my PS4 than the router. The question is how do I connect the amplifier to my PS4. With the possible networks, I still only see the router, but not the Wi-Fi amplifier.
