Hello folks the following thing unzwar I own a Rode NT-USB and I would like to buy the Beyerdynamic DT 990 250 ohms yet, but I've read that you need headphone amplifier or Dacs in these headphones, etc. I know me unfortunately, from zero with the topic of audio, I know that there's a built-in headphone amplifier on the Rode NT-USB. Now my question is, is the built-in headphone amplifier of the Rode Mikro strong enough for the DT 990 with 250 ohms? Because I honestly would not like to buy anything else because I simply wanted to connect the headphones of Beyerdynamic to the Rode Micro that had a jack connection. The Rode USB is mainly used on my Macbook Pro 13 2017, PS4 and now and on the Windows PC.
And last but not least the question if I still need any amplifier or DAC I wanted to get as an alternative to me an Astro A50, because as anyone knows whether it is possible to connect to the PS4 Rode and the A50 at the same time that I can use the Rode as a micro and get the sound from the A50.
I also do not know the Dt 990, because only closed types are in use here.
Basically, I'm not a fan of the Bayer KHs, not because of the sound but only because of its mechanical properties and the, not me responsive wearing.
You should also not resort to NoName types that often visually promise what they do not acoustically. Look at different AKG models. The K240 still has "studio" in the name, is too basslastig me, even if the transparency in the heights is still there. The K701 fits in your budget and is a "real" studio headphone, which reflects a balanced sound and can also be worn well.
Hello first Thank you for your answer So what's the budget as I wanted to max. Go to 300 euro. I'll look at the AKG models you've recommended.
