Is Sony making the PS4 full of bugs and laggs on purpose?

Since the PS5 was out, my PS4 only has bugs and it is extremely lagging. Not all the time, of course. But it is common. It only appeared when an update came. The update coincidentally came on the day the PS5 was officially released. Since this update my PS4 has lagged. I think Sony does this on purpose. So that everyone can quickly switch to the PS5. Or does ew have another reason? Can someone tell me what it is?
