Hello let's see if someone here can help me further and although I own the first version of the PS4 Pro now this has some age weaknesses and despite clean (inside) is the volume quite nerf. What do you think is worth switching to the CUH-7216B model.
Personally, I would wait for Ps5 by 2020!
No, it's not worth it anymore. The other Pro versions have a high volume, although not as blatant as the first model.

So I also had the first PS4 Pro model and sold it last year for a good price and then got the CUH-7216B. The new one is definitely quieter but still too loud for my taste. So you should not expect miracles. The new PS4 Pro, however, has a stronger coil whistle. I do not know if that bothers you, but I'd rather accept that than a fan that sometimes turns up to sound like an airplane turbine.
