2. Network setup?

Dear Community, I urgently need an answer, as strange as the question may sound.

Currently we have in our house a 16k DSL line (in our place are 25k possible). At least 4 devices are connected to this network, at least 3 of these 4 are Netflix, Youtube or similar.

I own a PS4 and I really enjoy playing it. But since I have no Lan cable, especially for me, it is difficult to play smoothly, since Netflix, Youtube and Co demonstrably need more Internet than gambling.

Now I'm looking for a solution, because I like to gamble liquid again and actually want to stream sometimes.

Is it possible to set up a second network device that only I can connect to? Unfortunately, I do not know very well about possible solutions… So I'm open to any suggestions!

No

At most you can still try dLAN (Powerlan).

Of course, there's also a load balancer in a hardware firewall. There you can then limit the bandwidths. But: is either expensive or expensive for household use.

If there's no internet connection, it does not really get better.

Ev

You could connect to the first router or a second wireless router and thus build your own wireless network. Since the 2nd Router depends on Lan on the first should go, if really no Lan cable in question.
