I just noticed from my work colleague how stressful and difficult it is to pre-order a PS5. Today several were made available, but they were probably completely sold out within seconds and the servers of several retailers crashed in phases, including Amazon. I could never do this stress to myself, even if I have a lot of enthusiasm for consoles. Will probably be a mixture of delivery bottlenecks due to Corona and an artificial shortage. In addition, my buddy said something about resellers who buy several with the help of bots and sell them again at exorbitant prices.
Now I ask myself the question of when you can buy the console in a relaxed way in the store or order it comfortably and stress-free online? Is mid-2021 realistic or more like 2022?
According to reports, the new consoles will probably not be available in stores or on the Internet until May / June 2021 at the earliest.
Mid-2021
It's just the meanwhile common fooling around, artificial scarcity
That's okay then, I'd rather be patient than give myself up to the stress. Especially since there are currently hardly any interesting games anyway
I had already thought of that, although the interest in the console seems to be endless anyway and Sony doesn't need it
Yes, anyway, I can't understand why so many want to have them right now. Hardly a pure starting title and possibly teething troubles at the beginning. And then that pre-order stress.
