Yesterday, I bought a ps4 game on the PlayStation Store with my friend (Days Gone). I'm German, my friend is Polish. Accordingly, I play the games in German and he in Polish. In this case, this is unfortunately not possible in the options. There are all possible languages only no Polish. So my question is, is there any way my friend can play this in polish, even if it's not in options?
I would be very happy about answers and thank you in advance 😊
Phew. Believe that will be difficult. I've heard that you can set your country setting z.B USA, for example. So you can't only partially bypass the region-lock but it may work well with the language.
Where it works in my example now only with the English language.
I doubt if you indicate your place of residence with India that you can play games in Hindu.
Thank you for your prompt reply. I already thought that probably will not work. But asking does not cost anything 😄
You or your friend have to buy two different versions of "Days Gone".
One in the local language.
For example For Polish it is a version which includes Polish, Russian and English as audio language.
For the German version only the German as well as the English language are available. In addition, the game may have been slightly censored in Germany - which is unlikely to be the case with the other version.
If the game does not support another language setting itself, it will not be possible to change the language accordingly.
Only what is on the disc you can also choose.
If you were to buy the game in Spain, you might have it there
Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and maybe French as a selection.
Changing the language in Ps4 does not change this fact - it just changes the menu language of your PS4 but not the / of the game.
The only possibility I would think if the game has not yet been purchased in the German Ps4 Store - create a second account with an address from Poland.
So put the Ps4 language in Polish - and generate a new account.
With polish address. Then maybe you would land on the Polish Store and could buy the game accordingly on the Polish PS4 Store. Where again there could be a hack - The Ps4 credit cards that have been purchased in Germany - could not count there.
It would be easy to look around on a Polish online site and buy / order the disk version. Because if it works with a new account with Polish address I can't answer you. Was then feasible on the Ps3. Had such a USA account - where there were more demos and games. As in the German Store.
Changing the language on ps4 also changes the game language.
BUT
Not all games are then in the language.
Is for me personally also nonsense what sony drives there with Landes languages etc.
I would rather just download the languages and ready, everyone can play it in his own language.
