Internet connection sufficient?

I have long been the problem that my internet connection (especially when gambling) viiel is too weak. We're a family of 5 with some connected devices. I play on my ps4 with wlan (I know lan cable would be more stable), but I have such strong lags and sometimes a high ping that it becomes unplayable. The problem is not when I'm alone at home, but rather when my siblings are all connected to the phone, running on a TV netflix and I want to gamble. So we wanted to set up a fiber optic connection, but there's no in my community. Now my question… How high should download / uploud rate on our new internet to support the above described circumstances with 2 ps4 PROBLEMLOS (ie with low ping and no permanent lags).

The most important is first, that you connect the PS4 with a LAN cable and not via WLAN. Depending on whether you use DSL over the telephone socket or cable Internet via cable connection, the router should therefore be as close as possible to the PS4, so you do not have to pull a very long LAN cable through the apartment.

A LAN connection is very important. If you have to, you'll have to drill walls through the wall, but with Wi-Fi you'll have a high ping and just get annoyed.
