WQHD monitor on a PS4?

I desperately need the opinion of people with a clue

I currently have a PS4 Pro and will purchase the PS5 when it appears. I'm currently playing on an approx. 5 year old 24 inch BenQ Full HD.

I bought an MSI Optix Mag271cr Full HD Curved Monitor yesterday and am slightly disappointed.

I like MSI and Curved a lot, but of course the jump to 27 inches with full HD is noticeable.

Now my question, I want to bring the monitor back and am considering the same in WQHD. Does that bring anything except problems? The PS4 can currently only play Full HD? Do I get problems with a WQHD? What would be the perfect solution for me?

I have already read in, but I'm really at the end of my Latin. On the one hand, I want a new monitor. But of course no money wants to throw out the window unnecessarily.

The problem with 27inches and FHD is the low pixel density.

If you connect the WQHD monitor to the PS4, you will most likely not get a nice picture because the monitor pushes the picture up from FHD to WQHD.

I also really notice the pixel density.
too bad I would really like a new monitor. Just want to think future-oriented when the PS5 comes out at the end of the year.
Finding 4K monitors that are curved, 24-27 inches and 144Hz is somehow impossible…

You can also solve the problem with pixel density by increasing the seat distance to about 1.5m. But it can also be tolerable from 1.2m.

Since the new graphics cards from AMD will probably come out at the end of the year and the new console generation I would rather bring the screen back and wait until the end of the year.

It is not yet known whether every game on the PS4 runs in UHD with 120fps or is WQHD supported at all.
