My Sony TV has four HDMI inputs, one of which has eARC / ARC.
Does it make sense to choose the input with eARC / ARC? Or just a normal input is enough.
As far as I know, eARC only makes sense for audio systems…
Which one should I choose for a PS4 in this case?
Just take one and be good.
If you are not sure, I would take the normal one, which is more than enough
Why don't you just try out which one is optimal or whether they are all the same? In the time you were typing this question, you could easily test it 3 times
I think it should be at least HDMI 2.0. Check that your TV has HDMI 2.0.
HDMI 2.1 is more interesting with the PS5.
All connections have HDMI 2.0
The arc function is intended for a soundbar or an A / V reciver. This input, in this case more of an output, returns an audio signal, so that e.g. With the built-in tuner you can watch TV and enjoy the sound via the soundbar or the home theater system.
