I have a ps3 slim called: cech-3004A with which I played on my big TV, because I still have a PC I wanted to convert the ps3 to the monitor so that I only use the big TV for the ps4 because on my dresser only 1 console can stand on it.
Everything went fine on the big TV and then I wanted to connect the ps3 to my monitor (enox 22 inch) via HDMI today and it causes these problems, it sends a signal so there's no "No Signal" but it is anyway completely black and no sound is heard.
I also tried the trick with a long press on the power button, it couldn't be on the HDMI ports either because I play on it with my PC via hdmi, but when I connect the ps3 to the monitor via scart, it works with one lousy quality that is not so fun. Have tried everything and I can't think of anything else. Do you have any suggestions?
The monitor also has only a single HDMI port.
Srry if I have forgotten any important information please just correct me otherwise.
I think in the ps3 menu you have already switched from scart to hdmi.
That's exactly what I've tried, unfortunately without success: /
