PC on TV no picture?

I used my PC today with a monitor, that is with a VGA connection to a Medion monitor. Now I moved a long time ago and have now taken the PC home with me and since I don't have a monitor here I wanted to use the TV and plugged one into the PC-HDMI connection of the TV and the other end into the HDMI via HDMI cable Connection of the PC. In the PC there's an APU built in, no idea whether this is because the HDMI cable normally goes to the graphics card. Please help, the cable is not defective. The PS4 works without problems!

You have to specify in the settings that your image will be duplicated.

Only then can the TV display it.

ti

How do I do that?

Gi

[
Windows key] + P press. Then click on "Double" or "Advanced". On the Samsung
TV choose the right input. There should be an HDMI button on the remote control

Is the correct channel selected on the TV?

Depending on the configuration: The HDMI cable can also be plugged into the motherboard if no dedicated graphics card is installed, or must be plugged into the graphics card if a separate graphics card is installed.

The resolution of the PC and the maximum resolution of the TV must match.

Da

Hold down the Windows key and then P

ti

Well, I don't see anything without a picture

Ga

The television is the sole screen on the PC. You couldn't mirror anything.

Da

You see something on the monitor. When the computer starts up, a mirrored image appears on the TV.

ti

Not close to the monitor so I could actually start you PC, enter PW without seeing anything and then just press Windows + P and then with a combination key twice and then enter or does that not work? Would be good if you could tell me what I have to press in order to select the one you want without having to use the mouse when it is up, then I can do it without a picture.

ti

E.g. Windows + P

2x arrow key down

Da

Normally only win + P

is the TV set to HDMI?

ti

Clear

Da

It's not that clear. It has to be switched from sat / cable to hdmi normally

ti

Choosing "Duplicate", "Extend" and "Second Screen Only" which is the right one?

Da

Only second screen, since you have not connected a monitor

ti

Had switched it over then shut down and am now connected again at home via HDMI and again no picture.
