I'm streaming on Twitch with 720p60 now I wanted to switch to 1080p60 and wanted to know if it was possible?

I play minecraft but also gta.

My internet has an upload of 6-10mbits

Can I do that without lagging or should I stay at 720p?

Small question still what can you do that the quality always remains at 720p60? Since it sometimes happens that the quality drops and is then pixelated and then the quality is normal again?

PC hardware: amd ryzen 5, 8 GB RAM, and gtx 1060

First of all, we should know what kind of hardware you have installed in your computer.

Po

That's fine. You have to set this in the program with which you are streaming. Bit rate of 5000 should be enough.

I added and should soon appear in the question have a gtx 1060 8 GB ram and AMD ryzen 5

ma

6-10 Mbit is very little. I don't think that will work. I can be wrong. You can just try it out.

sp

Can you set it that there's only 720p60 as quality and it can't switch to 480p or something on Twitch?

Po

It has nothing to do with Twitch. What matters is the software you are streaming with. Do you use OBS?

sp

Yes, I use streamlabs obs

Po

There you have to set it.

sp

OK where exactly do I have to set it?

Po

With "Settings" ^^

sp

Yes, and I selected 1280x720p for quality and 60 for fps?

sp

But still there's quality at Twitch 480p or other quality?

sp

What should I take with the bit rate when I stream with 720p60? Is 5000 ok?

De

3600?

Po

Way too much. 3000 is enough.

sp

OK what would happen. If I take 5000? What can it depend on if the quality fluctuates in the stream?
