Good luck on Twitch, right?

Moin, since this has happened to me again and again for a while, I wanted to inquire.

Is it normal that I get subs on twitch all the time? So it's really awesome, I've got over 10 subs free in the last few months, sometimes in consecutive months with the same streamer.

But I watch Twitch no more than 5 hours a week when I'm bored, often less. I've also got subs for free on channels that I've watched for a minute or so.

is that normal? Just counted again and there are 12 subs since December!

So in my subjective experience it depends on the channel and especially the people there.

I've also seen someone give away 20 subs. If you are in the stream, you have a sub.

So I've already received some as a gift several times, but I don't really look much either.

Basically, people support the streamer with the subs. There are people who have "enough" money or who simply want to support generously. Or they want to be considered generous xD

So yes, it happens. I see that subs are given away all the time when I watch Twitch. Now and then I'm with the recipients myself.
