I already have a MacBook Air.

Should I rather get a real PC with two screens?

I'll get a microphone this week.

Cl

A PC would definitely be more practical if you want to be professional and because you can have 2 screens you would be able to read comments directly from the game.

br

That's true.

But is my current equipment enough to start with?

Cl

You can certainly start with it, but you should jump around in the long run.

br

I will do this under any circumstances!

How expensive is it?

Cl

Do you mean a PC?

br

Correctly.

Cl

So a good gaming PC will cost you a good 1000 euro, but that depends on how you want to set it up. However, I would advise you to put together your own PC and get advice.

Jo

What do you want to stream with a MacBook Air?

Should I rather get a real PC with two screens?

Yes, that should be the least, 3 or even 4 screens would be better even if 4 pieces would be exaggerated for a beginner. In order to have everything at a glance, 2 screens are already tight.

br

Thank you for this detailed explanation.

Cl

No problem

So my own dual monitor setup cost about 1500. (Ryzen7 2700x on x470 board with 2060 super and 2 viewsonic VG2448)

Would be cpu moderately presumably sufficient though a 3700x or 3750x (or whatever their new monster is called) would be better

My sound setup (2.1 studio monitors, interface, mic, headphones) were again around 1100

1 screen game

What 4 for?

Cl

If you want it to be so expensive, you can do it that way, but I also put together my PC myself and I can play every game smoothly and the PC didn't even cost me 1000 euro.

Ar

1500 with 2 screens, keyboard, mouse, usb hub,…

The pc was around 1000.

But my sound setup is actually exaggerated for the "normal consumer" and I have no regrets to have it
