I somehow don't understand why my ad blocker blocks so many ads. Because there are not so many advertisements at all. Maybe I have adware / malware that brings so much advertising? The number of blocks increases by 1 every 20 seconds.
This should be an alternative advertisement, if Twitch recognizes that the advertisement could not be displayed and tries to load another advertisement.
Ok, can you recognize adware from the fact that the adblocker no longer works?
Adware does not turn off the ad blocker! Had 8k ADS after 8 hours of surfing
So maybe I have adware or the 2nd sentence was just general
If you have Twitch open for more than 2 hours or have changed the streamer, new ads can accumulate.
If you want to do an AdWare scan you can use the AdwCleaner from Malwarebytes.
I can only recommend Malwarebytes even though I mostly only use the good Defender
Yes, I've done it before, nothing was found. But somehow I sometimes get dubious casino advertising at the moment, and that on all devices although many have a different Google Account. Was my router hacked or something?
If Malwarebytes like to use without Windows integration, Defender and Malwarebytes run at the same time, find a good duo.
I can only agree with Jo
It may be that AdWare has crept in that was unfortunately not recognized.
I don't have another idea directly, but you can try to remove the advertisement with the pinpette and add it to the filter, which should be a temporary solution.
