I stream on Twitch and would like to activate the donation function, but it doesn't work because I'm still a minor. I have a checking account, but I only find the option to accept a donation on PayPal.
Since I'm a minor, I don't want to do anything illegal so that I can't get donations. I already get my Twitch payout on my checking account, but I don't know of any way of receiving donations.
Does any of you know a possibility to get donations there?
I doubt you even have a business. Believe me, this is much more illegal than your problem.
As long as the given donations are in a small range and do not reach a high number, there's nothing illegal about it.
That can change from month to month. If you're a good streamer, it can be easy to get attention. A lot of mistakes then happen.
Before I start earning three-digit numbers with Twitch, I will already consider the legal aspects.
