Can you change the latency?

I play warzone and no matter where with which connection I always have a server latency of 35ms-50ms with LAN. Can one adjust that somehow in the router? It can't be due to the Internet provider because I tried it out with 5 colleagues and all have different lines (100-400mbs) or providers. I then thought 35ms was just max. But on YouTube or Twitch I see that others have a 10-35ms latency.

Does anyone have any advice?

You can't set ping. Ping also has little to do with internet speed.

You have a better ping on German servers than on foreign servers

Just think about how the latency comes about. Imagine you are driving your car from Hamburg to Munich. Can you now significantly influence the driving time by turning the first traffic light to green for you? Can you significantly influence them by using a car that can drive 250 km / h, but can reach a maximum of 150 km / h on the route?

It's the same on the internet. The total latency is the sum of all individual latencies. Even if you could minimize the latency on your router, this does not affect the fact that one or the other router or the destination server causes delays on the way to the destination.

The user in Emmerich could have less latency to servers in the Netherlands than to servers in Frankfurt / Oder. I say so.

The latency to a powerful server abroad is usually also lower than the latency to the server next door, which whistles out of the last hole and is behind a miserable infrastructure. I say so.

I don't think much of blanket statements.
