I try a modpack to start then it starts to load and crashes after a short time.
I tried it with both launcher. It does not matter if I use the new or the old Java Launcher.
What can I do against it?
P.S. Some modpack start but only via the Java Launcher. And these are only a few.
So a friend of mine also had the problem. He could fix it by using the TechnicLauncher directly, not Twitch
You also need a lot of memory to load large modpacks, which you also have to allocate first.
Do this by clicking on the small 3-row bars in the top left corner of the Twitchlauncher. Then on Settings and then you look at Mods memory. There you can make other settings. For example, The chosen Java version and the resolution etc.
Finally, you just start Minecraft and all settings must have been adopted.
The step I had to do the day before yesterday. XD
The problem is when technic launcher, there's not the same modpacks
Got 16gb ram and got maximum and it still does not work.
You never wanted to forgive all your RAM because 14 or 12 are enough. But if it still does not work… Hm… Java updates or something like that. If necessary, try with administrator rights.
I can't assign more than 12 out of the 16 That's why I wrote a maximum. What do you mean by administrator rights (I know what that is, but I do not know how I can apply that)
Yes vlt Twitch times with admin rights start. Or see if there's a Twitch ne setting that starts the Minecraftlauncher with admin rights.
What I do not understand is that I had no problems on my old PC but on the new one already
Sry I can't help you either: / I'm so sorry for you.
I noticed now that almost only 1.10.2 modpacks work there are also exceptions in the higher but only a few lower versions I have not tried.
