Omitted frames at Streamlabs?

Actually, I don't really register anywhere else, but I need help now. I have a problem with Streamlabs OBS, I have been a streamer on Twitch for several months, before that I was on Youtube for 2 years blah blah blah… The last few months I have streamed relatively actively without any problems. However, I have not been able to stream for a few weeks now, because I always have "dropped frames" in Streamlabs. If I assume my bit rate to 4000, then it jumps directly to let's say 900 and then 1500, then 4300 etc. The whole thing suddenly came up, so you can rule out some things. I have not found any other solution on the Internet, so I hope that you will find a solution here.
Of course, the LAN cable is connected to my PC and I also stream over it. At the moment I have an upload of approx. 12 Mpbs and a download of 50+ Mbps, so that's not the problem for us. My ping is consistently below 20. PC: Ryzen 5 1600, GTX 1070, 16Gb RAM, hard drives are also sufficiently empty for cache etc. At Streamlabs I always streamed to 4000-5000 bit rate and have not changed that to date. If you still need information, just let me know. I also post the log if necessary.

You have to switch on the CBR or constant bit rate.

If you have frame drops then you can try increasing the priority.

I had just made the addition that I use CBR to change the bit rate ^^ priority does not bring anything…

For a few weeks now

Could it be that because of Covid-19 there's simply more load on the network and therefore your internet connection is worse?

I mean, there's no question that there are currently more people online.

But only guessed what it could be.

Ru

Yeah, I've thought that a few times now, thank you for saying it again ^^ Then I'll just wait and hope it gets better.

Lo

You could just test your internet connection if you have any problems.

So run the speed test several times.

Otherwise it would be interesting to know when this happens, because it can be worthwhile to document the downtimes if you can see a trend there.

More problems in the evening than during the day. More problems at the weekend than during the week. - Something like that, for example
