When to tax your money?

I like to draw and discovered the "Patreon.com" platform just for me. You can be supported by people on this platform and give them eg a picture drawn for them (as an example).

I have now asked myself as a normal-minded average Joe consumer: "Hey, there are taxes?!"

Have informed me and always read of a "9,000 euro" limit (9,168 euro). Allegedly, you only have to pay tax on this annual amount.

Is that correct? And all these little kids who would have to collect on Twitch or YT livestream donations but would also be punishable if this limit does not exist as an example or?

Sign up at the tax office you have it before you give away the first image for money. Whether you actually become taxable then come to the profit that you achieve.

No

ALL revenues are generally taxable.

But up to the basic allowance no taxes have to be paid. The basic allowance in 2019 is just 9,168 euro for singles and 18,336 for married people.

In a nutshell: if you have less than 9,169 euro in revenue per year, then you do not have to pay any income tax.

Most kids on YT or Twitch will move into zones where it's pretty irrelevant. Donations are not available for streamer as you will not be able to donate.

Do you put the bill on people for their stream. Need a PC, internet, electricity, a room… Then most small streamers are a 0 number.
