Hello when I stream the new COD Cold War on Twitch. If the GPU utilization goes to 90-100% and the stream then starts to lag. I'm running the stream through my GPU. It's only that bad with COD, too. And no matter what I do it doesn't really get any better. What will that be?
My system:
RTX 2070 Super
Ryzen 5 3600 4.1 Ghz
16GB Ram ddr4 3200mhz
Which program are you streaming with?
Intel is better for streaming, own experience…
Ah, I read, OBS…
Try Vmix… It's free for 2 months, but Intel will run better there too…
I stream with OBS
I read it, sorry
This is because the game uses the full power of the graphics card, then the encoder does not have enough time to encode each frame and the lags begin.
In general, it only helps to give the GPU a little more space and reduce the graphics setting.
But you can also try to change the preset of the NVENC encoder in performance instead of quality or in the worst case to switch to CPU encoding.
What surprises me is a buddy streams great with the 2070 and he has no problems
Then immediately start your setup with his. Use exactly the same settings in Game + Encoder Settings.
