Twitch.tv small business mandatory?

Short and concise question, do I absolutely need a secondary business / small business for twitch? Or can I also use my own tax ID? It's about the affiliate program. Otherwise a small business would register, but through corona everything has to do with us, wanted to ask the tax office, but that too has closed. Hope you can help me.

As soon as you have a profit intention, it is compulsory. You will then get your own tax number.

Sure you have to register the trade. Just look at the page of your trade or regulatory office. You will definitely find the right form there. If not, you can often find it on the net. Just google for GewA1.

Fill out the form, sign it and send it to the office by post or ax. You don't have to go there.
