I'm a (soon 18 years old) student and very interested in poker. Play it even with friends. Now that I'm turning 18 I'm open to playing poker with real money. I want to start then really pure. I watch a lot of videos and twitch livestreams. I know a lot of technical terms and already have a BRM, but I just do not have enough experience and general knowledge for the game. So now I'm trying to contact poker players to improve my gameplay because my friends are not as interested in poker as me, which does not support you very much. In addition, if possible, I intend to do a 2/3 week internship, as I will soon have a school internship. Do you know someone or you are one of the ones who would allow an internship?

PS: I'm glad about every answer! An internship, if that does not work with the poker internship, I have if necessary already at a company.
I hardly believe that your school allows you to do an internship with a poker player.
Apart from that, what should you do there? Bring coffee?
A true good poker player has no interest in teaching a beginner to play. In the time he trains you, he could earn some money playing poker.
Does a good player do that if at all against payment.
You're on the right track, watch Twitch streams and play. Read a little bit and gain experience.
Thank you for the fast answer! I think that will not be a problem with the school.
I'm just a bit afraid to become a Losing Player and wanted to give me a good start. Do not know what to do or should if you are a Losing Player. Stop completely? How long to play at all to realize that you are one? Maybe there's a poker player who would allow the internship. Questions do not hurt: /
I'm relatively sure that no poker player who does this professionally will allow you to.
And to do it professionally you have to be really damn good! There are plenty of good poker players who earn a lot of pocket money, and they're pretty damn good poker players too.
It may be that you are losing player, especially in the beginning.
But more than twitch streams to look you can't do at the moment. And read a lot
Maybe you can find a good player who will teach you a little bit. But this player will certainly not be a professional poker player.
Reading about strategy, positions, reads, mitigation etc? Do you have special pages or books? I like to take it, if you can recommend something. Since I'm still a student, I could not until the afternoon at the table. Should I only play smaller Sit & Go's and play a MicroTournement at the weekend when I have the whole day (the custom is more time because of the large number of players). For example, I realized that I can't stay focused for long. Since any tips or just read and practice so that comes with the times?
Sit and gos and tune are equally good. Presumably sit and gos are a bit better at the beginning because the field is smaller. So it's more likely to be first. When tune can get a long stretch of time and only lose and quickly lose the desire.
Tourists can also pass quickly if it is hyper turbo tune. But the faster the tune, the less it has to do with real poker. Will be lucky soon. So play slow or maximum turbo tuners. And yes, in the best case can take a few hours.
