How do I activate my valorant key when it is in my twitch inventory?

I got a valorant key (it is in my inventory in twitch). When I check my status with playvalorant, however, "not yet" is displayed.

Connect your Riot account to Twitch.

Is it

Make sure you have connected the Riot account to Twitch that you used to log in to the Valorant beta page.

If the correct account really says "Not yet there", check your emails. Maybe the real access is a long time coming.

If nothing happens I would contact Riot.
