Discord, listen to twitch twice?

My problem is that I'm on the Discord with my friend and watch a Twitch stream both over headphones but somehow he hears the stream. How does it work? And how can I show that?

If you hear almost next to each other, either move further away or change the sensitivity of your heatset or you suspect yourself. Test something on your sensitivity. Discord: Voice and video chat settings.
