As already formulated in the question, I wanted to ask you for a few empirical values on your part regarding community building.
In a nutshell: I currently stream on Twitch daily and have now got my affiliate after 1 1/2 months. I don't care about follower numbers, but I have a lot of fun when people are chatting and actively writing. I prefer 10 active ones to 100 inactive ones.
So now to the question. What did you do to build up a bigger audience? I already use Twitter to announce streams and I also plan to bring content to Instagram and Youtube. Do you have any other tips?
If so, I would be very grateful!
So as a 2-time moderator of "evening streamers" it always helped to set up a Discord server and then set up different channels there.
You can also have your Twitch roles linked to Discord, which is very useful for maybe "private" channels.
I don't really think that YouTube and Instagram are really the thing now.
Maybe you can publish some cut "Stream Highlights" on Youtube to advertise a little about it, but I don't see much more there.
