The following thing:
After years of Let's Play pause, I would start again in March.
My platform should be Twitch.
A few years ago you had to register for the Nintendo Creator program to stream games or lets play.
Now I've read that the Creator Program has been discontinued in 2018.
Unfortunately, I still find that Nintendo is still generally on the Internet, no framework conditions from Nintendo to be able to stream / lets play games published by them.
Do any of you know something more specific? Does anyone vll have a link where I could read this more closely?
First, you need a capture card
Second, you need OBS
Third, you start streaming
That was not the question…
I would like to know if I have to be careful about streaming, not that I get into trouble with Nintendo
So you have to buy a capture card and connect it to the Nintendo, then install Obs and start streaming
No.
That was not the question…
I would like to know if I have to be careful about streaming, not that I get into trouble with Nintendo
You don't really get stress there, at least I've never heard of it
I mean, after the creator program was closed, Nintendo adjusted its guidelines so that every content creator can upload Nintendo content as long as there's recognition value (in other words, the exact opposite of walkthroughs; but it was a long time ago and can't me remember more exactly)
I don't know exactly how it works with streams. But I can tell you: I've never heard of a case where Nintendo took action against any creator for uploading or streaming a game. So don't worry!
Finally a correct answer! Thank you: 3
I just found something about the guidelines. Let's play games are therefore permitted. You just can't use content that uses Nintendo intellectual property and:
violate applicable laws
Violate Nintendo's intellectual property rights and / or
Contains pirated copies of Nintendo software.
Otherwise, streaming and commenting is permitted while playing (lets play)
Normal gameplay is always fine. Do not worry about it!
