I have pre-ordered the XBox Series X and am now looking for a new monitor.
I came across the ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ1B for ~ 340 euro.
The monitor has a resolution that corresponds to WQHD, which in my opinion is completely sufficient for the size of 27 inches.
The monitor has FreeSync Premium via HDMI, HDR 10 and 165 Hz.
As a loan, the question arises as to which features I would have to forego that the console theoretically offers?
I'm also happy to receive suggestions about what you think are better monitors.
Actually just a higher resolution.
Since the former is actually completely irrelevant in terms of size, the monitor is completely sufficient.
Thank you for the fast answer!
It only makes me wonder that the mini goal is so relatively cheap in contrast to comparable models.
Is there a rake on the monitor, e.g. That the color representation is poor?
So I've been dealing with the topic recently and have consulted many shops. You can't go wrong with an MSI monitor; the price is between 350-600 euro. But you shouldn't skimp on that either, take a look at a few models, preferably those with 1MS and 144 HZ. You are definitely not doing anything wrong with the monitors.
Actually, you don't need to spend that much because the consoles only have 120 FPS anyway
give up, i.e. Full HD 120Hz should be enough, of course you can also get a 4K monitor, but only if the money is there.
Many thanks for the answer!
Unfortunately, I have not yet found a model from MSI that has HDR and it is also not specified whether FreeSync is also supported at the HDMI input.
I'm sorry but I have no idea about that. Play on a 55 inch Qled TV yourself.
Look if there are any reviews. On the other hand, 27 inches is also quite small.
Since the latency of monitors is very low anyway, Freesync can possibly be neglected.
However, HDR is a fine thing.
I'm ready and willing to spend 500 euro to a maximum of 600 euro, but then of course I expect a corresponding price-performance ratio. And that as many features of the new generation of consoles as possible are exploited.
