My Xbox one can't snyc with new controller?

I have my xbox one now since the beginning and have since a short while the problem that the connection button for controller etc no longer works so the xbox is no longer flashing but the one controller is the Connected remains connected only new I can't connect!
Who has an idea how I can possibly search from the system or otherwise?
USB cable I've already tried must then stay tuned and that's not useful and purpose of a wireless controller!

Obviously, the button on the console is probably defective or the associated system software.
