Looking for a game similar to Far Cry?

Many years ago I played a shooter game on the very old Xbox that was very reminiscent of Far Cry. It was set on tropical islands and the character you control has special powers? Your vision will turn yellow and you will get strength like a tiger? I don't know if that was the case, but I remember it. I think the first cutscene takes place on a jetty where a woman and a man talk to us and in the next second we're shot at by messengers with assault rifles.

Does anyone know the game?

Thanks for your help though. I don't think those games were on the old Xbox back then. I'm talking about the first Xbox, not 360 or one
