I'm currently playing Forza Horizon 4 on PC. In the settings it says "Teredo can't qualify".
I'm aware of the measures you have to take with the router: But these also involve security risks.
The question that comes to me is why is this only necessary for Xbox games or Playstation games? Other games such as Need for Speed or Battle Royale Games do not require these measures on the PC and multiplayer mode is possible. Why?
Because Microsoft relies on this nonsense from Teredo and also uses a lot of peer to peer, which is why incoming connections must also be possible
So is that only the case with Microsoft? I thought Sony had the same problems
Sony has used peer-to-peer a lot, that's true. They always have similar problems. Teredo, on the other hand, uses almost only Microsoft
What is the difference between peer to peer and teredo?
