Or what do you have to pay attention to? There are probably devices that do not allow playing in 4K…

For a 4K TV I can only recommend which from Samsung because you get on average for 500 euro a good TV with nice colors, but the best is still a gaming screen

Well, there's not really much to pay attention to.

Older and cheaper models may still have 50Hz panels installed which leads to a worse picture just playing. Also, they often do not have HDR support. These are actually the most important things besides 4k, also called HDR which a current TV should and can.

Then there are two types of televisions, namely OLED and QLED.

OLED is the latest and almost all providers except Samsung rely on it. In this type of television, the big advantage is its extreme black levels because dark places in the picture, unlike classic LED TVs simply not be illuminated. Also, the side angle is almost unchanged, not unimportant when several people sit in front of the TV. The only downside is on the one hand, the immense power consumption, depending on the size and a risk for longer static images as in older plasma TVs a burn or lingering images. However, this only happens after hours of still images or fixed ads in games, and most high quality TVs can clean their own screens to solve this problem.

Samsung, in contrast, relies on its QLED technology, which is an advanced LED technology. Here, the individual crystals are illuminated in color, which in turn leads to a much brighter picture, really radiant white and stronger colors compared to OLEDs, especially when playing HDR content. However, you only benefit if you sit directly in front of the TV. The lateral angle is rather limited here. The further you look sideways, the grayer and dull the picture becomes. When playing certainly no problem but with multiple television can be problematic. Even black is not completely black but depending on the price range always something gray act, similar to normal LEDs which always look a bit gray even without Bildzuspielung when they are turned on.

I would not go with the purchase under a thousand euro if you want to be sure of the future. Do you notice the above, OLED better dark rooms and class with several television or QLED rather alone or only minimally sideways even in daylight your choice should be a little easier.

Important for 4K TVs is still the size. In order to recognize the differences superficially, you can sit closer with current TVs than with old LEDs. As a rule of thumb, diagonal times 1.3 equals seat distance.

Hope that helps with your decision.

Small correction on my part 4k is also known as UHD not as primitive written HDR which in turn is a system of contrast and color improvement.
