I have had the problem for a long time that my RB button has stopped working. In the beginning it was still possible when I firmly pressed the button with my thumb and pushed it a little to the left. But now it's not happening anymore.
I can still press the button as normal and it also makes this normal clicking sound. However, it doesn't happen as if you had never touched the key.
Do you know why that is, and if you could fix it without buying spare parts or a new controller?
I had the problem once too. I can't tell you if you can fix it like that.
However, there should be instructions on this problem on ifixit. There you swap the part that the bumper is pressing to activate it. Anyway, for me that was the part that was broken.
