Is GTA Online still worth it on PC?

Many have made the experience with GTA Online on PC that either their game crashes or they are constantly annoyed by a modder, as well as that there are generally many bugs that are very annoying.

Do you think GTA is still viable on PC or should you buy a PS or Xbox?

Public lobbies are sometimes really annoying, but if you play with a few colleagues or something you can also set up a private lobby.

In general, it's still fun.

I'll give it a Jain.

It's a good game, but public lobbies are unplayable. Hackers, Modders, Griefer, Tryhards, etc

And annoying kiddies chatting not to forget XD

A modder / hacker turned me and my friend into a trash can several times, once someone spawned a huge UFO on the map AND we're always killed by an oppressor.

No, it's not worth it.

It depends on…

In the days of PS4, most gaming PCs were superior to the console in terms of graphics and performance. However, we're talking about really good gaming PCs here. In terms of price-performance ratio, the PS4 was and can't be topped! But I assume that you already have a decent gaming PC, because you can completely forget about a "normal" computer for GTA! Then the argument of mod menus and hackers still comes into play. It's much more difficult to glitch on consoles, so you have more relaxed gaming on consoles without fear of a hacker simply banning you in the worst case. Even smaller hacks or glitches are by far more difficult and rare on consoles.

The most striking argument, however, is the next Gen PS5 with 4K and 120fps. For 400 to 500 euro you can get the creme de la creme here and this price-performance ratio is not at all comparable with gaming PCs, because there are worlds in between!

Conclusion: If you already have a really good gaming PC that GTA runs on without any problems, then I would probably stick with the PC for now. The code for GTA costs e.g. Only 10 euro at MMOGA. Basically, in my opinion, the console is better in ALL points: Same performance as a top gaming PC, but much, much cheaper and significantly less cheaters. So if you only have an average or inferior gaming PC, then the PS5 is definitely the best investment (if you get one soon). And if you already have a good gaming PC, you have to decide for yourself how much GTA is worth to you and whether you also buy a console.
