Connect USB Headset to xbox one does not work?

I would like to connect my USB headset to my xbox one s (previously played only playstation) only that does not work I plug the USB part into my xbox only I hear nothing about it and I can't speak about it I have to set something or something? At my playstation I just had to plug it in and I'm pretty confused
