Controller does not shoot in gta?

I play on pc gta with controller (xbox)

only the problem is that I can't shoot but hit drive fly so accelerate everything works like this…

Does anyone know what that could be?

Are you playing with an elite controller? There you can use the switches on the back to shorten the triggers' "paths". I've had problems with this in a few games.

It could be that your R2 button is no longer "spring-loaded".

Then something is wrong with the R2 button, you will have to get a new controller or have it repaired. You could of course also play with the keyboard.
