Yes. This works out. You need a so-called emulator. The simulates another system on the PC. This is also available for the Xbox. Have to google the XBox emulator.
It's illegal, just for information
An emulator is not illegal in and of itself. As long as I play original games with it, using an emulator is completely legal. It only becomes illegal if I pull Iso's off the Internet and play with it.
