You go down to the right of these friends icon (should be RB, if I'm not mistaken), then one to the right and there you create a Rocket League ID - if you do not already have them - and then you can use the ID's of yours Friends adden the friends.

But, Crossplay update appeared a few months ago… With the help of the Rocket ID you can now play with other consoles / PC in the team.
Simply attach via Rocket ID and create a group.
Goes with all platforms also Nintendo Switch.
