I want to connect my xbox with the hdmi cable to my laptop. So basically use the laptop as a monitor. My laptop is windows 10 but how can i see the picture?
I don't think so.
A laptop usually has no HDMI input but only outputs. You would have to retrofit an entrance to do this.
You can use a capture card for this. This is then either connected to the laptop via USB or installed. (The installation is usually only done with desktop PCs.)
Then you connect the console to the capture card and you can e.g. Play with the software that is usually included. You can then use other programs such as e.g. Use OBS or the VLC media player. After installing the drivers, these programs should be able to recognize the capture card.
