I always buy the latest consoles in the most powerful version. I.e. I currently have the Xbox One X and will buy the Series X in November - if I can still get one.
Xbox Series X if I were forced, the others are far too weak.
If you're referring to the coming new generation, I would take the MIT drive.
But don't buy me any of the new consoles.
But still have the very first Xbox that I like to use every now and then.
