Which gaming monitor? - 1

I've been playing xBox again after years and now I wanted to buy a new monitor that I can use for this as well as for university to connect my Macbook (as a 2nd monitor)

At the moment I still use an old "television" from my sister (https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiY2pve5p3tAhWHCOwKHbxNAuMQFjAAegQIBBAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.samsung.com%2Fde%2Fsupport%2Fmodel%2FUE22D5010NWXZG%2F&usg=AOvVaw3keznvHKlEXEwo8zipmv4N)

I have just discovered this monitor at Saturn and wanted to ask whether someone is familiar with monitors and can tell me whether the price-performance is appropriate. Of course I would like one with a higher resolution than Full HD, but these are still a bit too expensive for me at the moment. And I've read that when buying, you should upgrade to Hz before paying attention to the resolution.

It would be important to know in which resolution you would like to work / play. A high refresh rate (140+) would generally be good for playing. If you need G-Sync / FreeSync, then take that too. You should choose the type of panel according to your taste and budget (PVA, IPS, OLED, TN, …)

http://www.prad.de has m. E. According to the best monitor tests on the net. Take a look over there.

Thank you,

yes I think 1440p is more comfortable but the wallet says 1080p.
But I think with 24 inches 1080p should also be fine (with 27 inches that would be something else).

The type of panel is, so to speak, how the colors look or have I misunderstood that? Because OLED was black, it looks really black, etc. But I think that's all too expensive for the student wallet

Take a look at the filters to see if it fits. I took 1440 as a resolution here.
