To connect Xbox ONE / PS4 to a CRT?

I know that this TV has no HDMI connection, and therefore you need a converter that converts HDMI to Scart. But what resolution does the picture have? Has anyone ever had experience with it. And is there a console in the case where it tends to work better?

I can't tell you what resolution the picture has, but it will look dreadful. Why do not you get yourself a sensible TV first? Costs less than a console.

Taking into account that a 16: 9 image has to be calculated down to 4: 3 (letterbox), the effective resolution is reduced further.
